Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth in a mixing bowl.
- Add the softened butter and mix well, then incorporate the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
