A comforting and creamy tuna salad sandwich that brings back nostalgic memories, perfect for lunch or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of drained canned tuna
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices of bread (your choice!)

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained canned tuna, mayonnaise, pickle relish, chopped celery, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Spread the tuna salad mixture generously onto one slice of bread.
  3. Top with another slice of bread to create a sandwich.
  4. Cut the sandwich in half and serve.

Notes

You can prepare the tuna salad a day in advance and store it in an airtight container. Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
