- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
- Mix the melted butter and sugar in another bowl until well combined.
- Add the eggs, buttermilk, red food coloring, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- If using, fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool for a bit before cutting into squares.
