- 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the flour until well combined and coat the sausage.
- Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and spread them evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the gravy over the biscuit pieces to coat.
- If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and gravy is bubbling.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
