Description

Delightfully tender buttery sautéed mushrooms that add comfort and flavor to any dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and butter in a pan over medium heat, watching as the butter melts and starts to bubble.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  5. Serve as a side dish, garnished with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon.

Notes
