Description

A warm and comforting one-pan dish featuring seasoned ground beef, tender cabbage, and melted cheese, perfect for chilly weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes (with juice) and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage, stirring to combine, and cover the skillet.
  6. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  7. Remove from heat and top with shredded cheese.
  8. Cover until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.
