- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, chicken broth, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
