Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Add the beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned.
- Remove the beef and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, and onion in the same pan.
- Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, mix with the vegetables, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
For best results, freeze the beef for 30 minutes before slicing. Marinate ahead for easier prep.
