- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
- Mix together the ground cinnamon and brown sugar in a separate bowl.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it.
- Pour the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Swirl the two mixtures lightly with a knife.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Drizzle a glaze made of powdered sugar and a splash of water over the cooled cake if desired.
