A comforting dish of classic meatloaf topped with savory brown gravy, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup brown gravy

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until fully combined, letting your senses enjoy the comforting aroma.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish, smoothing out the top for an even bake.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and beautifully browned on top.
  6. While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the brown gravy according to package instructions.
  7. Serve slices of meatloaf with a generous pour of brown gravy over the top.

Notes

Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing for best results. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to four days.
