Description

Crispy tortilla sticks filled with seasoned taco meat and melty cheese, perfect for a quick family dinner or a party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup cooked taco meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (for dipping)
  • Oil (for frying or brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a frying pan if frying.
  2. Place a tortilla on a clean surface and spread a few tablespoons of taco meat.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat and add a spoonful of salsa for flavor.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Place the rolled taco sticks on a baking sheet if baking, or gently place them in the hot oil until golden brown if frying.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or fry until crispy and golden.
  7. Serve warm with a side of sour cream for dipping.

Notes
