- 1 (16 oz) Can of crushed pineapple
- 1 (28 oz) Can Cherry Pie filling
- 1 (18 oz) Yellow cake mix
- 1 cup Chopped pecans
- 1 Stick butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9″x11″ baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Add the crushed pineapple to the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- Layer the cherry pie filling on top of the crushed pineapple.
- Combine the chopped pecans with the yellow cake mix in a bowl.
- Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the fruit layer.
- Slice the butter into pats and dot them across the top of the cake mix.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for extra comfort.
