Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.

- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl; gradually blend this dry mixture into the creamed butter mixture.
- Spread half of the cookie dough into the greased baking pan, pressing it down gently.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy, then spread this mixture over the cookie dough layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the cream cheese layer.
