Description

A comforting cheesy tortellini bake with broccoli in a creamy ricotta sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners and family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked tortellini, sautéed broccoli, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  6. Add the tortellini mixture and top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the veggies or cheeses to your liking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
