Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast (cooked and shredded, or rotisserie chicken)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup salsa (your favorite kind, mild or spicy)
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 8 small flour tortillas (or corn tortillas, if preferred)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)
  • Sour cream (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the shredded chicken until well-coated in the creamy mixture.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the creamy chicken mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  5. Fold the tortillas over and place them seam-side down in a serving dish.
  6. Top the tacos with fresh cilantro and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
