Description

This comforting Crock Pot Meatballs and Tortellini recipe is effortless to make and brings a rich, creamy flavor that is perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound meatballs (frozen or homemade)
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the meatballs, chicken broth, diced tomatoes (if using), and Italian seasoning in your slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 240-360 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
  3. Add the cheese tortellini and heavy cream to the slow cooker about 30 minutes before serving. Stir to mingle the flavors.
  4. Check the seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste before serving. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead friendly: Prepare meatballs in advance and freeze. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer.
