Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Combine heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, whisking until well blended.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, sprinkling a generous amount of shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese between the layers.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the layered potatoes, ensuring each slice is coated.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
