Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Add the broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  3. Drain both the pasta and broccoli, reserving a cup of pasta water.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and broccoli; combine and add reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to your liking, creating a comforting and flavorful dish.
  8. Serve adorned with grated Parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

Notes
