Description

A quick and easy black bean dip that’s perfect for any gathering, packed with flavor and nutrition.


Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced jalapeño or cayenne pepper for heat
  • Optional garnishes: chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, or avocado

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine black beans, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth or to your desired consistency.
  3. Taste your dip and adjust seasoning, adding more lime juice or spices as needed.
  4. Serve immediately, garnished with cilantro, tomatoes, or avocado if desired.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to a week. If you’re out of black beans, feel free to use kidney or pinto beans instead.
