Description

Delightful French Dip sliders with savory roast beef and caramelized onions, served with au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 pound roast beef, sliced
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • Cheese (optional: Swiss or provolone)
  • Au jus for dipping
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook until they’re caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous amount of roast beef and caramelized onions on the slider buns. If desired, add a slice of cheese.
  4. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, until the buns are toasted and the cheese has melted.
  6. Serve with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

Make caramelized onions ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to three days. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
