A warm and creamy Garlic Butter Chicken served with bowtie pasta, perfect for cozy evenings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it’s golden and bubbling.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it’s fragrant and slightly caramelized.
- Toss in the diced chicken, seasoning it generously with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is nicely browned and cooked through.
- Pour in the chicken broth, bringing it to a gentle simmer to meld those flavors together.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet. Toss it gently to coat every piece in that luscious sauce.
- Serve warm, topping each dish with generous grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy within 3 days. For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
