Description

A refreshing summer side dish featuring crisp cucumbers blended with garlic and dill.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large cucumbers, cut into spears
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced

Instructions

  1. Prep the cucumbers: Wash and cut the cucumbers into spears, ensuring they’re fresh and crisp.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl or a ziplock bag, mix together the cucumbers, salt, pepper, crushed garlic, and minced dill. Make sure everything is well coated with the seasoning!
  3. Let it chill: Place the mixture in the refrigerator, covered, for 15-30 minutes or up to a few hours. The longer they sit, the softer and more flavorful they become.
  4. Serve cold: After they’ve chilled, serve these delightful garlic dill cucumbers cold for a refreshing, crunchy treat.

Notes

These cucumbers can be made a day in advance and taste even better after marinating overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
