Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned and translucent; drain excess fat.
  3. Combine the biscuit mix and milk in a bowl until just mixed; do not overmix.
  4. Spread the beef mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the beef, smoothing it out.
  6. Spoon the biscuit mixture on top and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
