- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned and translucent; drain excess fat.
- Combine the biscuit mix and milk in a bowl until just mixed; do not overmix.
- Spread the beef mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the beef, smoothing it out.
- Spoon the biscuit mixture on top and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving.
