Warm and gooey Ham and Cheese Sliders made with sweet Hawaiian rolls, savory ham, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

- 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 8 slices of ham
- 8 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Mix in the poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the ham and cheese directly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on the cheese.
- Brush the delicious butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, letting it seep into the cracks for maximum flavor.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Once the time is up, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are a beautiful golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cozy, gooey goodness!
Notes
These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
