Description

Warm and gooey Ham and Cheese Sliders made with sweet Hawaiian rolls, savory ham, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Mix in the poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  3. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and cheese directly on the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls on the cheese.
  6. Brush the delicious butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, letting it seep into the cracks for maximum flavor.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes.
  8. Once the time is up, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are a beautiful golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy the cozy, gooey goodness!

Notes

These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the fridge before baking. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
