Description

Irresistibly crispy chicken wings coated in a sweet and tangy honey BBQ sauce, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings (cut into drumettes and wingettes)
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings: Cut the chicken wings into drumettes and wingettes, discarding the tips if desired. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Season the Wings: Add the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper to the wings. Mix thoroughly to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  4. Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the tray and bake for 25 minutes. Flip the wings and bake for another 20 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden.
  5. Make the Honey BBQ Sauce: While the wings are baking, mix the BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl. If your BBQ sauce is cold, heat it gently in a saucepan with the honey until warm.
  6. Coat the Wings: Once the wings are crispy, toss them in the honey BBQ sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately and watch them vanish!

Notes

Leftover wings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat to retain crispiness.
