- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Toss the apple slices with the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well-coated.
- Add butter to the Instant Pot and select ‘Sauté’ mode until melted.
- Gently add the cinnamon-coated apples to the pot, stirring to combine.
- Pour in the water and add vanilla extract if desired.
- Close the lid and set the pressure release valve to sealing. Cook on ‘Manual’ high pressure for 1 minute.
- Carefully perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Serve warm as a side dish or dessert.
Notes
Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
