Description

Indulge in these delightful Irish Cream Oreo Truffles, perfect for cozy gatherings and holiday treats. These no-bake truffles combine creamy Irish cream liqueur with rich chocolate and Oreo cookies for an irresistible dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: Cocoa powder or crushed Oreos for dusting

Instructions

  1. Crush the cookies: Begin by placing the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  2. Combine with Irish cream: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and Irish cream liqueur. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Form the truffles: With your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into neat balls.
  4. Chill the balls: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the truffle balls on it. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle: Take each refrigerated truffle and dip it into the melted chocolate.
  7. Back on the baking sheet: Place the dipped truffles back on the parchment paper.
  8. Optional dusting: Dust with cocoa powder or crushed Oreos before the chocolate sets.
  9. Final chill: Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

These truffles can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the fridge. They get better with time!
