- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into small balls (about the size of a golf ball), season with taco seasoning, and place them on the skillet.
- Smash the beef balls down with a spatula to create thin patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Warm the tortillas in another skillet or microwave until pliable and slightly toasted.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a beef patty on each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, and sour cream.
- Add hot sauce if desired, then serve immediately.
