Description

A cozy and delicious combination of smash burgers and tacos, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into small balls (about the size of a golf ball), season with taco seasoning, and place them on the skillet.
  3. Smash the beef balls down with a spatula to create thin patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Warm the tortillas in another skillet or microwave until pliable and slightly toasted.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing a beef patty on each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, and sour cream.
  6. Add hot sauce if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

Customize with your favorite toppings or use ground chicken for a spicy twist.
