Description

A delightful layered dessert combining strong coffee and silky coconut cream, perfect for cozy nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brewed strong coffee
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine the agar-agar powder with water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. Add sugar and brewed coffee to the mixture, stirring well to combine.
  3. Pour half of the coffee mixture into a mold and let it set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the coconut cream in another saucepan and add the remaining sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  5. Carefully pour the coconut cream mixture over the set coffee jelly layer in your mold and refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Pour the remaining coffee mixture on top and let it set completely in the refrigerator for about 120 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For easier slicing, run a warm knife around the edges.
